Lis is a little kid who just doesn’t want to fall asleep one night. It watches its dark room out of his bed and discovers through the window the moon that is full and round in the sky. Curiously it gets up and stands by the open window, continues to look at this bright ball and considers whether this thing can be touched.

An owl flies by and begins to talk to the child about the moon and the world. Lis wants to visit the moon, but doesn’t know where to start to make this idea a reality. That is why the two of them make some kind of an inventory to get an idea of the way to their goal, so that they can later take the first steps together.

The story is intended to encourage readers to do the same. Finding out a wish and getting to know it exactly, so that it becomes clear what has to be done in order to be able to live it.

Furthermore it inspires us to awaken, sharpen and open our senses and to trust and follow our own perception – which is the only thing that connects us to our being.
