Of course we need to sleep for a third of the day. That leaves two thirds.

Much of it is spent consuming and if producing, then for someone else in exchange for goodies with which one can consume even more OR with someone else for five hot minutes and a brief ecstasy.

The big context crumbles down on us from screen and loudspeaker and what we could do with it is difficult to decipher. The peace talks are just with one side because that side didn’t want the other one there. We hear peace when war is meant and we take on the divergence, believing it’s ourselves who are inauthentic and who have lost themselves, probably because of our parents’ mistakes in our upbringing, and we go to therapy to work on ourselves. Then we take pills and think that this sacrifice will make the world a better place.

For those who sleep, dreams only come true at night. All it takes is a commitment to good, whatever that looks like. What are you doing?
